Warehouse Helper & Donation Pickup Driver
Location: Durango, CO

About the Role
The Warehouse Helper & Donation Pickup Driver is responsible for safely operating a box truck to collect food donations from partner organizations, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring food is handled, stored, and distributed with care.
Key Responsibilities
Donation Pickup & Transportation
- Drive a box truck to pick up food donations from grocery stores, community partners, and special events.
- Load and unload donations safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate pickup logs and communicate any issues or delays.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition; report maintenance needs promptly.
Warehouse Operations
- Sort, inspect, and organize incoming donations according to food safety guidelines.
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and assist with preparing food orders for distribution.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Assist with volunteer groups as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle preferred (training available).
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse setting with regular lifting, bending, and moving of goods.
- Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions during donation pickups.
