Entry-Level Ironworker
Location: Durango, CO
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Ironworker to join our team in the fabrication and installation of commercial structural steel and residential ornamental ironwork. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable trade skills while working alongside experienced ironworkers in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.
Position Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and follow fall protection and safety procedures
- Basic welding experience
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Possess basic connecting tools
- Basic understanding of blueprints and shop drawings
- Basic knowledge of rigging and crane hand signals
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- 2+ years of related construction experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with the fabrication and installation of structural steel and ornamental ironwork
- Perform basic welding, fitting, and connecting tasks
- Use construction tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and shop drawings
- Assist with rigging operations and crane-guided material placement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
Compensation
- Entry-Level Ironworker: $17-$21/hour
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills. Benefits
