Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure timely and efficient operations. This role ensures accurate shipping and receiving, maintains inventory integrity, and supports food safety and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
Supervise warehouse coordinators to ensure efficient performance of duties.
Oversee loading of all outbound shipments; ensure orders are pulled and staged three days in advance with correct documentation.
Record lot codes for all outgoing cases.
Prepare sample requests and QA shipments for UPS.
Manage unloading of all inbound shipments and verify container seal integrity.
Accurately log all shipments and receipts in the daily shipping manifest and receiving log.
Document inventory adjustments weekly.
Repack damaged products or those needing new packaging.
Maintain proper product rotation procedures.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, etc.).
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization; complete weekly cleaning logs and trap inspection forms.
Conduct facility inspections to ensure AIB food-grade compliance.
Process customer orders in accordance with special requirements (e.g., Amazon).
Assist in facility improvements and miscellaneous tasks (e.g., equipment moves, light bulb replacements).
Inventory Management:
Execute all transfer orders with carriers.
Perform inventory reconciliation and follow-up reviews.
Conduct weekly cycle counts.
Receive and adjust all MCF receipts in SAP.
Verify batch controls within SAP.
Food Safety & Security:
Enforce protective measures to ensure compliance with food safety protocols.
Maintain food security to prevent product tampering and ensure employee safety.
Monitor and control access by ensuring all visitors and drivers sign in and have valid reasons for entry.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Forklift operation experience required; certification preferred.
Familiarity with logistics terminology and best business practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
