💼 Direct Hire Opportunity – Controller

💲 $125,000 – $140,000 annually
Express Employment Professionals – Fort Lauderdale is recruiting on behalf of a growing organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead their Finance & Accounting team.
This is a full-time, direct hire position offering the chance to play a critical role in financial operations and strategic planning within a dynamic, multi-site service environment.
What You’ll Do:

Oversee all accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, payroll, and inventory accounting

Prepare accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements
-
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
-
Manage internal controls, audits, and compliance
-
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide growth

Supervise and mentor the accounting team

Partner with leadership to drive profitability and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master’s preferred)

7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ in a Controller or senior role

Industry background in manufacturing, healthcare services, or industrial operations preferred
-
Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP/accounting system proficiency

Leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
