Now Hiring: Diesel Mechanic – Plant City, FL
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a trucking yard in Plant City, FL. This is a full-time position offering steady hours and competitive pay.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers

Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic issues

Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and DOT standards
-
Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records

Work independently and as part of a team to keep fleet running efficiently
Schedule & Pay:
-
Monday–Friday (some Saturdays as needed)

Day shift – start at 7:00 AM until work is completed

Pay: $25–$30/hr (based on experience)
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
-
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
-
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
-
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required)
