Perform incoming and visual inspections for electrical and mechanical defects.

Troubleshoot, test, maintain, rebuild, retrofit, and repair electrical equipment. Equipment may include transformers, low or medium voltage circuit switchgear, and breakers.

Complete test reports according to company and customer standards and within required timelines.

Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and enhance work processes.

Communicate with management or designated personnel for effective problem resolution and job updates.

Collaborate with team members to complete work assignments efficiently and accurately.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company, local, and federal safety standards.

Perform offsite technical support as required or assigned.

Work nights and weekends as business needs dictate.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.
-
At least 5 years of related experience.

Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).

Understanding of standards like NETA, IEEE, NFPA.

Hands-on experience with various electrical equipment (low/high voltage).

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
-
Basic computer knowledge for tasks like data entry and report creation.

Good communication skills—both written and verbal.

Ability to follow written and spoken instructions, work with a team, and meet customer expectations.

Valid driver’s license (if driving a company vehicle is required).
