Position: Automotive Technician – Class B
Location: Ruskin, FL
A busy and growing automotive service center in Ruskin is seeking a Class B Automotive Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for a technician with solid mechanical experience who can perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair services while delivering quality work and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements

Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate mechanical issues

Conduct vehicle inspections and identify recommended services

Perform brake services, battery replacements, belts, hoses, and other general repairs
-
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Communicate service recommendations clearly with service advisors or management
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred

Experience performing general maintenance and light mechanical repairs
-
Ability to diagnose common vehicle issues

Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
-
ASE certifications are a plus but not required

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand, bend, and work under vehicles for extended periods
