Project Coordinator – Construction (Residential Projects)
Location: Brandon, FL
Compensation: $50,000 – $75,000/year (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
A growing construction company is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support residential projects. This role works closely with leadership and serves as a key point of contact between customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects organized and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for customers throughout projects
- Coordinate communication between customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Track project progress, schedules, inspections, and documentation
- Maintain accurate records in company systems and follow up on delays or missing information
- Prepare and send invoices; track payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Enter and track change orders, ensuring accuracy and approvals
- Support accounts payable by reviewing and entering vendor invoices
Preferred Systems & Tools
- QuickBooks (Desktop preferred)
- Construction/project management software (Pro Edge or similar)
- Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative, project coordination, or construction office experience
- Construction or trades experience strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of invoicing/accounting processes
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Customer-service oriented with strong attention to detail
