Job Title: Commercial Electrician
Location: Eastern Hillsborough County / Tampa Bay Area
Pay: $25–$35/hour (Based on Experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician with 3+ years of experience to support projects within hospitals, government buildings, and other institutional facilities. This role requires working in regulated environments with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and institutional settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, and electrical components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local, state, and federal codes
- Work in active environments (including hospitals) with minimal disruption
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Experience in hospitals, government, or high-compliance environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Electrical license or certification is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed (including nights/weekends)
- Comfortable working in secure or restricted environments
