Journeyman / Junior Plumber
Pay
$25.00–$30.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Additional hours may be required based on customer needs and flexibility.
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Journeyman or Junior Plumber to join a fast-paced service team primarily focused on residential plumbing work with some light commercial service. This role is ideal for someone who is confident performing plumbing repairs while also communicating solutions and service options to customers.
The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, sales-minded, and able to work independently throughout Hillsborough County using a company-provided vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and light commercial plumbing service calls
- Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs/installations
- Present and sell service and repair options to customers
- Complete 2–3 service calls per day
- Maintain daily sales goals of approximately $1,000–$1,250
- Operate safely and professionally in customer homes and businesses
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition
Qualifications
- Plumbing experience required
- Journeyman or strong junior-level plumbing skills preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing pricing and selling service options
- Clean driving record required
- Must have own plumbing tools
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workload
Work Environment
- 90% Residential
- 10% Commercial
- Service area throughout Hillsborough County
