Forklift Operator – Produce Warehouse
Location: Plant City, FL
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Sunday | Start Time: 7:00 AM
Hours: 15–18 hour shifts as needed
This is a fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in loading, unloading, and moving fresh produce while ensuring orders are handled safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and transport produce throughout the warehouse.
- Stage, organize, and prepare shipments for delivery.
- Load and unload trucks while minimizing product damage.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working long shifts (15–18 hours) as business demands.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.
