Warehouse Associate – Plant City, FL
Location: Plant City, FL
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or until work is completed
Overtime: Some overtime may be required or mandated during busy periods
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Plant City!
We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded Warehouse Associate to assist the shipping team with processing and preparing customer orders. This is a hands-on warehouse position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and the flexibility to work until daily tasks are completed.
Job Duties
- Assist the shipping team with processing orders
- Perform quality control checks
- Pack, wrap, and strap products for shipment
- Label products and completed orders accurately
- Process orders using a computer
- Use an iPad to take and upload photos
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow instructions and established procedures
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift, excluding breaks
- Basic computer skills for processing orders
- Comfortable using an iPad to take and upload photos
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work until all assigned tasks are completed
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English without an interpreter
- Bilingual candidates are welcome
- Forklift experience is not required, but candidates must be willing to learn if needed; training is provided on-site
- Must maintain a safety-first mindset at all times
PPE / Safety Requirements
- Safety vest must be worn at all times in the warehouse — provided by the company
- ASTM 2413-05 approved safety-toe shoes are required and are not provided
- Safety shoes must have:
- Steel or composite toe construction
- Minimum 4-inch upper to adequately cover the ankle area
- Puncture-resistant soles
- Slip-resistant soles
