Bilingual Medical Front Desk / Check-In Specialist
Location: Brandon, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an experienced Bilingual Medical Front Desk / Check-In Specialist for a busy medical office in Brandon.
This is a fast-paced position requiring someone who is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while providing excellent service to patients. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have at least 2 years of recent medical front desk experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage the check-in and check-out process
- Answer and manage high-volume, multi-line phone calls
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits
- Collect and update patient demographics and insurance information
- Obtain necessary forms, identification, and documentation
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, insurance companies, and other medical offices
- Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other front office responsibilities as needed
- Accurately enter and update information in the practice management system
- Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Minimum 2 years of recent medical front desk/check-in experience required
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) strongly preferred
- Experience with insurance verification and patient eligibility
- Comfortable handling a high volume of incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy medical office
Candidates without recent medical front desk experience will not be considered.
