Job Full Description
A bandsaw operator at Vincent Corporation is responsible for safely and accurately cutting metal or other materials to specified dimensions using semi‑automatic or manual bandsaw equipment. The role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate bandsaw equipment — Set up and run semi‑automatic or manual bandsaws to cut materials according to job specifications.

Measure and verify materials — Use measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts and maintain tight tolerances. Accurate measurement is described as vital for the role.

Adjust machine settings — Set cutting speeds, blade tension, guides, and stops based on material type and thickness.

Inspect finished cuts — Check cut pieces for conformance to specifications and mark identifying data when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
