Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and hardworking Temporary Housekeepers for a busy hotel environment in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and common areas. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest room supplies
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
- Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management
- Ensure hotel cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests and team members
- Follow all hotel safety procedures and housekeeping protocols
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel cleaning experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work 30-35 hours per week
- Must be flexible to work weekends and varying schedules
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
