With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team.Job Summary:As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will involve receiving, processing, and dispatching a wide range of products, ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process incoming shipments, including verifying product quantities, inspecting for damage, and updating inventory records- Package and label outgoing orders, ensuring accurate and secure delivery- Assist with the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, including stock rotation and general cleaning tasks- Collaborate with the broader logistics team to optimize workflow and identify areas for improvement- Perform other general warehouse and logistics duties as requiredQualifications:- Proficiency in packaging and labeling techniques- Experience in shipping and receiving operations- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team- Basic computer skills for inventory managementWorking Conditions:This position is based in our primary distribution facility, which is a warehouse environment. The work may involve frequent lifting, standing, and the use of machinery and equipment. Candidates should be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19 per hour. This is a temporary, "Temp to Hire" position with the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time role with access to our comprehensive benefits package.
