Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This role involves cutting and preparing foam glass insulation materials according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools and machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cut foam glass insulation material accurately based on provided specifications and measurements
Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and measurement guidelines
Use and read a ruler and tape measure with precision
Operate a bandsaw and other cutting tools safely and efficiently
Perform material handling, including medium lifting of insulation products
Inspect finished cuts to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
Strong work ethic with a commitment to reliability and punctuality
Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately
Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and rulers
Familiarity with or willingness to learn operation of bandsaws and similar equipment
Ability to perform medium lifting and physical labor throughout the workday
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
