Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Counter / Inside Sales Associate in Tampa, FL. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, and the ability to assist customers with product inquiries, order processing, and sales support.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers at the sales counter with product selection and order placement
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Process sales orders, quotes, invoices, and returns accurately
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Verify product availability and communicate lead times to customers
- Assist with inventory checks and maintaining accurate product information
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, counter sales, inside sales, or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge and experience entering orders
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with industrial, plumbing, waterworks, construction, or distribution products is a plus
