Job Full Description
Job Title: Assembly Worker in the Ybor City area.
Job Summary: Must have experience. The Assembly Worker is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing products according to company specifications and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to use hand and power tools, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with team members to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components, parts, and finished products according to work instructions and blueprints.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Package finished products for shipment and distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report defective materials, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory, material handling, and stocking assembly stations as needed.
- Meet daily production quotas and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- At least one year experience specifically with mechanical assembly or a mechanic.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must stay no farther than 20-25 minutes from Ybor City.
- Be available for 10-12 hour shifts.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
