Material Handler Lead
Long Term – Full Time
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for the Material Handler Lead
position for a local company in NE Tampa. The position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. This role is responsible for overseeing daily material handling functions including receiving, staging, and shipping of parts, equipment, and materials. The Lead will coordinate team efforts to ensure efficient workflow, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards.

DETAILED SUMMARY:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts, and audits
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing of materials
- Coordinate with operations, yard, and logistics teams
- Train new staff members
- Enforce all safety rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years experience as a lead
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Forklift experience preferred
- Familiar with inventory management systems such as SAP
