Elastomer Technician

Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for an Elastomer Technician for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for the Elastomer room, including setting up, operating, or tending machines.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $19.50 per hour
- Monday – Thursday
- Full time | Second shift
- Operate various machinery, including extruders, mills, mold presses, and click presses
- Perform Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive applications Adjust machine settings to control speed, pressure, temperature, material flow, and dimensions
- Monitor equipment and operators, using indicators and gauges to identify malfunctions
- Support bonding, cutting, and other assigned production tasks
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Identify and report defective materials or irregular conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years in a manufacturing role required
- Speak, read, and comprehend in English
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
