Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for an Upholsterer for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and restoring upholstered items.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $17+ per hour
- Full-time | Long term
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather for furniture and other items
- Strip old upholstery and prepare frames for reupholstering
- Install padding, springs, webbing, and fabric coverings
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least one year of upholstery experience
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Speak, read, and comprehend in English
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
