Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Graduate from an OT educational accredited program
- One year of recent OT experience, preferably in home health or another relevant setting (rehab, acute care, outpatient)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- TB test
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' daily living skills, mobility, and independence
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on strategies for managing and adapting to their conditions, maximizing their independence and quality of life
- Documentation: Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practice
