Conveyor Technician

Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Conveyor Technician for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. The role requires expertise in 3-phase motors, pneumatic systems, and mechanical components to ensure the smooth, efficient operation of material-handling equipment.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $24 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- Full time | Long Term
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with conveyor systems, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components
- Install, maintain, and repair 3-phase motors and associated control systems
- Inspect and service conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, and drive systems
- Maintain and repair pneumatic actuators, valves, and air systems used in conveyor automation
- Perform preventive maintenance and document all work performed
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in conveyor maintenance or industrial equipment repair
- Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and motor controls
- Experience with pneumatic systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
