Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Tack Welder for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. This role involves preparing and welding metal components used in precast concrete production.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $16 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- First shift | Full time
- Preform tack welding on steel components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Ensure proper alignment and fit of parts before final welding
- Inspect welds for quality and compliance
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience as a tack welder preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding techniques and standards
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend in English or Spanish
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
