Requirements
- MA diploma
- 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience
- Reliable and Personable
- Hands-on BLS certification
- TB test
- Pediatric experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Ability to take patient vitals
- Ability to administer vaccines and medications
- Ability to log vaccines - on paper & electronically
- Basic knowledge of Florida SHOTS (statewide registry)
- Basic computer skills to work in Electronic medical records system
- Perform labs including blood draws
- Perform vision & hearing screens
- Speedy data entry
- Make appointments
- Verify insurance
- Must have Flexible work hours, especially during the summer months
- Manage patient flow with a physician
- Kid friendly
- Scanning
- Strong personal skills
- Strong communication skills - in person & on the phone
- Desire to work as a team member
