Culinary Arts Instructor

Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Culinary Arts Instructor for a local company. This position is full-time and temporary. You will be responsible for supporting food production operations while delivering high-quality culinary instruction and career mentorship to students enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $20-$25 per hour
- Temporary | Full time
- Deliver classroom instruction and hands-on kitchen training in accordance with the CAP curriculum
- Provide engaging culinary demonstrations, including proper food preparation techniques and kitchen best practices
- Train students in the safe and effective use of food service equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen
- Support the kitchen team with any additional duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in restaurant management, or culinary arts
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service and culinary industry
- 1 year of post-secondary teaching experience
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend in English
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
