PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – Per Diem | Tampa, FL | $55/hr | Surgery Center
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced PACU Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem shifts in Tampa, Florida. This role is based in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center, providing high-quality post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

Job Highlights
Key Responsibilities

Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from cosmetic and reconstructive procedures

Monitor and assess airway, vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain control in the immediate post-operative phase

Manage post-operative complications, including changes in patient condition

Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure continuity of care

Administer and titrate IV medications, including analgesics, antiemetics, and sedation reversal agents
Requirements

Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact RN license

Minimum 1 year of PACU experience within the last 2 years

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
