Pharmacist – Independent Retail Pharmacy
Port Richey, FL | Full-Time or Part-Time | $55-60 per hour
We are hiring a Pharmacist for a licensed and credentialed independent retail pharmacy in Port Richey, Florida. This is a full- or part-time opportunity for a licensed pharmacist seeking a long-term role in a community-focused pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, interactions, and proper storage
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic appropriateness
- Administer immunizations and vaccines in compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulations
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding prescription clarifications and medication therapy recommendations
- Manage inventory, medication ordering, and controlled substance compliance
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, policies, and quality assurance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service while promoting patient safety and wellness
- Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and other clinical pharmacy services as applicable
- Assist with workflow optimization and support overall pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment
