Financial Services Sales Assistant
Direct Hire: $40k – $50k
In-office, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Summary
The Financial Services Sales Assistant provides administrative and client support to financial advisors and their clients. This role assists with sales and service activities, account management, and client communications, ensuring all operations are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, account updates, and service requests.
- Prepare and process account documentation, new account forms, transfers, and maintenance requests.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and assist with follow-up actions.
Sales & Business Development Support
- Assist advisors with sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, and client outreach.
- Maintain client databases, track leads, and prepare sales reports.
- Support the preparation of proposals, investment reviews, and performance summaries.
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Process trades or investment transactions as directed (if appropriately licensed).
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and ensure confidentiality of records.
- Coordinate with back-office operations, compliance, and other departments to resolve issues.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all client interactions and account activities comply with firm policies and regulatory standards.
- Stay informed on updates to procedures, products, and regulations affecting client accounts.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, brokerage, or banking.
- Series 7 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/account management systems.
