Job Full Description
An automation control valve company in Conyers is looking for a warehouse worker!
Pay: $16/hr.
Hours: Monday- Friday: 8am - 5p w/ 1 hour lunch.
About the Job: Warehouse Associate is responsible for the overall organization of warehouse facility in terms of shipping/receiving, inventory handling and delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle unloading of all motor freight, UPS and other incoming shipments.
- Handle all aspects of stock put-ups and slotting locations.
- Pack, weigh and process UPS shipments.
- Verify Purchase Order Notes/ Pull Material.
- Create Bill of Ladings For Motor Freight Shipments.
- Arrange for pick-up of motor freight shipments / Load motor freight.
- Coordinate and Document “Will Calls” with customers.
- Empty Trash Cans / General Housekeeping.
- Put up stock before end of day.
- Assign stock slotting locations.
- Complete Cycle Counts.
- Order warehouse supplies from Uline.
- Calculate UPS Inbound Red / Blue charges for Warehouse Manager
- Attend Mandatory Quarterly Inventory Counts.
- Possess the qualifications to operate a forklift.
- Possess the qualifications to operate any AWC delivery vehicle, including running a delivery route.
Required Qualifications:
- Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
- Ability to multitask and manage time well
- Ability to move up to 100 lb. and lift up to 60 lb.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- General knowledge of computer functions
- Ability to operate a forklift & pallet jack
- Some technical/mechanical skills or ability to learn
