Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operators to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, operating a cherry picker to retrieve inventory, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate has previous cherry picker experience, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets and RF scanners.
- Safely operate a cherry picker to retrieve products stored at various rack heights.
- Assemble customer orders on pallets for shipment.
- Move completed orders to designated staging and shipping areas.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while picking orders.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Previous cherry picker operating experience required.
- Experience using RF scanners is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products and pallets.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
- Ability to work around dust and moderate to loud noise.
