Experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver / Box Truck Driver
Location: Conyers, GA
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Driver to join a growing HVAC distribution company in Conyers, GA. This position combines warehouse responsibilities with local box truck deliveries and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to pull and stage customer orders.
- Load and unload materials efficiently and accurately.
- Drive a box truck for local deliveries as needed.
- Contact customers to notify them when orders are ready for pickup or out for delivery.
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Experience driving a box truck.
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Current DOT Medical Card required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
