Job Summary:
The Premium Audit Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for premium audit inquiries, providing administrative and customer support through phone, email, and written correspondence. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed when handling sensitive or challenging conversations.
Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage incoming phone calls related to premium audits

Respond to customer, agent, and auditor inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner

Prepare and send audit-related letters and documentation via mail

Serve as a liaison between auditors, insureds, agents, and internal departments

Handle difficult or escalated calls professionally without becoming emotionally reactive

Track, update, and maintain accurate audit records and correspondence in internal systems

Follow up on outstanding audit documentation and responses

Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or insurance operations preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to remain composed, professional, and solution-focused during tough conversations

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with email, phone systems, and basic office software
