Owner

Madi Jantsch began her journey with Express in 2014 at the Dubuque, IA office and went on to open the Des Moines West office in March 2020. She’s passionate about building connections and helping people succeed.

Outside of the office, Madi loves traveling, practicing yoga, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Curt, and their pup, Cy.

Riley McDaniel

Recruiter

Riley McDaniel joined Express in March 2023 as a Front Office Coordinator and soon after moved into a Recruiter role. Originally from Marcus, Iowa, she graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2022.

Outside of work, Riley loves spending time with her two nephews and exploring new spots around the Des Moines area.

Stevie Vandeboe

Recruiter

Stevie Vandeboe joined Express Employment Professionals in February 2026 as the Front Office Coordinator at the West Des Moines office. Just a few months later, in June, she transitioned into a Recruiter role, where she enjoys helping associates find new opportunities and connecting them with jobs that fit their goals.

Outside of work, Stevie enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, relaxing at home, and hanging out with her two cats!

Mike Schaul

Owner

In May 2007, Mike co-founded the Dubuque Express Employment office with co-owner Matt Timmerman. Since then, his passion for staffing and helping people succeed has led him to open and operate additional offices in Fitchburg, Davenport, Mason City, Moline, Waterloo, Platteville, Janesville, and West Des Moines.

With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Mike is focused on building strong teams and creating a positive work culture. His dedication has played a big role in the growth and success of Express Employment Professionals across multiple communities.

Matt Timmerman

Owner

With over 20 years in the staffing industry, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as co-owner of Express Employment Professionals. Alongside his business partner, Mike Schaul, he has helped grow a strong presence across multiple communities with offices in Dubuque, Fitchburg, Davenport, Moline, Waterloo, Mason City, Platteville, Janesville, and West Des Moines.

Matt is passionate about connecting people with the right opportunities and supporting local businesses. His commitment to helping others succeed has made a lasting impact on both job seekers and employers throughout the region.
