Job Full Description
A local company in Des Moines is seeking two Property Maintenance Technicians to assist with maintenance operations across their multi-family housing properties in the Des Moines area.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance work orders in occupied apartment units.
- Assist with apartment turns, including repairs and basic upkeep between tenants.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, minor plumbing, carpentry, and repairs.
- Travel between multiple properties as needed throughout the workday.
- Use personal tools to complete maintenance projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
- Communicate effectively with property management and residents.
Qualifications:
- Previous property maintenance, apartment maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks independently.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable.
- High School Diploma required.
