Traveling Construction Laborer – $20/Hour
Full-Time | Travel Required (NE Iowa & Southern MN)
Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and hard-working individuals for a Traveling Construction Laborer role. This hands-on position involves travel, physical labor, and working in various environments throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to job sites across NE Iowa and southern Minnesota
- Read tape measures and perform basic math calculations
- Climb and work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding
- Carry materials daily (up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs)
- Work in indoor/outdoor environments year-round
- Measure, cut, and fabricate insulation and metal jacketing
- Follow verbal directions and maintain safety practices
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in confined spaces when needed
- Comfortable using hand tools (knives, saws, snips, etc.)
- PPE provided; must supply own safety boots
- Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (subject to change)
Pay:
- $20.00/hour
- Travel and lodging covered when on the road
