Service Technician
Full Time | $20-25/hour
40 hours per week | Direct Hire Opportunity
Location: Waterloo, IA
Express Employment is seeking candidates for a full time Service Technician to support a locally owned Mechanical Contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and install mechanical and electrical control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment.
- Accurately diagnose system issues and determine the most effective repair solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal mechanical codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to stick/tig weld.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with stick and tig welding preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Automotive, HVAC, electrical experience preferred
Schedule & Pay:
- 40 hours per week
- $20-25/hour depending on experience
- Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule
- On call rotation
