Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with local company to search for a Service Technician to join their team. This is a Monday-Friday first shift, temp to hire opportunity. Located in Waterloo, IA with some local travel involved.
Duties:
- Install new dock levelers, commercial doors, and other related warehouse equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on existing equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe/efficient operation
- Diagnose and repair complete dock levelers and overhead doors
- Conduct inspections
- Weld and fabricate steel components needed for repairs
Skills/experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical related job
- Strong skills in welding, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
- HS Diploma required
- Ability to travel locally for work
- Ability to stand for periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds as needed
