We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join a local company's team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with different materials and tools to ensure high-quality finishes on a range of products.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint using various methods to achieve desired finishes.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Add clear coats to specialized finishes to enhance durability and weather resistance of signage.
- Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Experience in auto painting, construction painting, or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
- Familiarity with materials handling practices to ensure safe transport of items being painted.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
