Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Waverly. This role involves precision welding and fabrication work while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
$20-23.00/hour
Monday–Friday | First shift schedule
Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine materials, dimensions, and fabrication requirements
• Weld components using MIG, TIG, and arc welding methods in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Set up welding equipment and adjust welding current to ensure proper configurations and weld quality
• Operate metal fabrication machinery including shears, brakes, saws, and related hand and power tools
• Inspect welded joints and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and industry standards
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, and gauges to verify accuracy
Skills & Experience:
· One to three years of applicable welding or fabrication experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proven experience as a welder or fabricator
· Strong mechanical skills preferred
· Strong welding skills preferred
· Proficiency in multiple welding techniques
· Experience operating metal fabrication machinery and tools
