Forklift Operator
Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $20.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Forklift Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating a forklift to move materials throughout the facility, unload trucks, and support production operations. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and be willing to assist with a variety of warehouse and production tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Transport materials to production and warehouse areas
- Assist with machine operation as needed
- Perform general labor duties and facility clean-up
- Remove garbage and maintain a clean work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed, sometimes repetitively
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to safely perform warehouse and production-related tasks
