Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking Janitorial Team Members to join a local facility's cleaning and maintenance team. Multiple full-time and part-time openings are available. These positions are responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities while supporting daily operations.
Available Shifts:
- Full-Time: 6:00 AM–2:20 PM
- Full-Time: 4:00 AM–12:30 PM
- Part-Time: 4:00 AM–Approximately 8:00 AM
- Part-Time: Flexible daytime hours (8–12 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned buildings and common areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols
- Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the shift
