Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift
Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Forklift Operator to join a local warehouse team. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and experience operating material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas
- Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Assist with inventory tracking and material movement documentation
- Organize materials to maximize storage space and accessibility
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with warehouse management software preferred
- Experience operating material handling equipment or willingness to learn
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Ability to safely operate industrial equipment in a warehouse environment
