Express Employment is looking for Associates for a local company located at Stanley Gault Parkway for day and night shift. Hours are 6am-6pm for day shift and 6pm to 6am for night shift, Monday-Friday. Pay is $18.00 for day shift and $18.85 for night shift. Steel toes are required for this position. Position Summary:
Produce quality parts to meet Customer(s) and standards.
Responsibilities
• Attend Daily Shift Meeting;
• Ensure 100% delivery to customer;
• Take part and improve effectiveness using Lean Manufacturing methods;
• Install and maintain 5S standards;
• Work shifts and overtime as necessary;
• Responsible for the safety of all personnel working in the areas including visitors.
• Ensure health and safety requirements and procedures are adhered to.
• Carry out Process to correct Quality and Production Standards within cycle time;
• Escalate issues to Team Leader/ Shift Leader as necessary;
• Work flexibly in order to meet customer demands and needs;
• Responsibility for ensuring Product Quality.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment in an excellent working condition
• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
• Responsible to follow up works instructions (complete the operation always in the same way)
• Responsible to use all the traceability requirements in their area to accomplish product requirements
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
Knowledge / Skills
• Strong attention to detail and willing to listen, discuss and ‘bottom out’ issues;
• Ability to work under pressure to tight time scales;
• Ability to stand 10 – 12 hours per day;
