Express Employment is seeking Skilled Material Technicians for a great Automtive company in Louisville, KY.
A materials technician typically works in a more technical or analytical capacity, often in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments. Their duties may include:

Operating and maintaining material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes)

Applying automated material management systems and processes

Supporting production by moving work-in-process materials, packaging, and supplies between machine centers

Possibly handling hazardous materials, chemical waste, or hazardous chemical and waste handling

Maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Recording material requisitions, weights, and logs
Skills & Education: Often requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with some positions needing technical training or certifications (e.g., forklift operation). Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics is common.
