Job Full Description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Material Technician to join our team and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. In this role, you will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders, playing a crucial part in our logistics operations.
As a Material Technician, punctuality and the ability to work long hours on your feet are essential. You should possess strength and dexterity, with a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of orders. Your responsibilities will include reading incoming orders, selecting the correct items from warehouse shelves, and staging them for delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming pick tickets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pick items from storage areas using barcodes and serial numbers to ensure correct order fulfillment.
- Utilize technology to locate products efficiently within the warehouse.
- Retrieve orders based on specified criteria such as quantity, size, and type, ensuring precision in order fulfillment.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a pick/pack role or similar warehouse position is essential.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math skills, ability to read/write/understand English.
