Skilled Carpenter – Paducah, KY
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking experienced Skilled Carpenters for a growing construction company based in Paducah, KY. The current job site is located in Murray, KY. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced carpenters looking to join a professional team working on commercial and/or residential construction projects.
Job Responsibilities

Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, remodeling, and general construction.

Measure, cut, and install wood and other building materials according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans.

Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, flooring, and other finish materials.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.

Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of carpentry or related construction experience required.

Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure materials.

Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and common carpentry equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Reliable transportation to the Murray job site.

Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
