Industrial Painter – East Feliciana Parish
Full Time – Evaluation Hire
$18/hr + depending on experience
Monday – Thursday, 6 am-4:30 pm. Friday and Saturdays when needed.
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for Industrial Painters for a local client in East Feliciana Parish.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Industrial Painter:

- Surface Preparation & Measurement
- Measure surfaces to determine required paint quantities and appropriate coating types.
- Prepare and protect surrounding areas to prevent overspray or damage to non-painted surfaces.

- Painting & Application
- Apply paint and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, conventional spray systems, airbrushes, stencils, and other application tools.
- Perform basic stencil work, line striping, and layout tasks as needed.
- Ensure all coatings are applied to proper thickness, finish, and quality specifications.

- Compliance & Safety
- Follow all chemical handling, waste disposal, and environmental regulations.
- Comply with OSHA and company safety standards, wearing required PPE and participating in safety procedures.

- Workplace Standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and equipment.
- Assist in training and mentoring new hires on painting techniques and safety practices.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements for Industrial Painter:
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial painting experience required.
- Industry certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Airless spray equipment
- Coal Tar Epoxy and other specialty coatings
- Conventional spray systems for enamel paints
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
