General Laborer/Clean up $17 per hour.
Position Summary
A well-established industrial fabrication company in the Baker, Louisiana area is seeking an experienced General Laborer to join its production team. This role is critical to keeping the shop clean, safe, and functioning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse/shop processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweeping shop floor.
- Hosing down and scrubbing shop floor.
- Hosing and cleaning water jets.
- Handle materials safely, including stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant alloys
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and other shop personnel
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in shop or warehouse settings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
